Thank you for printing the informative interview with Department of Public Welfare Secretary Gary Alexander (Aug. 17).
While Secretary Alexander seemed to express a real concern for needy Pennsylvanians, I do have one objection to the words he used in the interview. The correct name of the health care act passed by Congress is the Affordable Health Care Act.
I find Secretary Alexander’s use of “Obamacare” for the health care act to be not only a partisan political statement but also derisive and offensive.
