Letter: Reader concerned about changeover to digital projection

By , - Last modified: August 17, 2012 at 10:15 AM

My family goes to the Midway Drive-in Theatre in Mifflintown. This changeover (from film to digital projection, CPBJ Aug. 3) will probably close down that long-time drive-in, which saddens the entire community.

It has been talked about on their Facebook page since the start of the movie season on Memorial Day. It is great to see that the cost is still going down for the equipment.

We have seen “Spiderman” and “Batman” so far this summer and are hoping to get in another movie before the drive-in closes on Labor Day.
