Midstate construction companies were recently recognized for their work by the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.
Lancaster-based Wohlsen Construction Co. received nine awards — the most by any of the members at this year’s association competition — including the Project of the Year for its own operations center project.
The construction firm also received green building recognition for that project as well as the construction award in the commercial under $2 million category.
The New College House on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College received the top construction award in the institutional category as well as the woodworking category.
Also winning a first-place construction award was the firm’s Historic East Side Suites urban-redevelopment project in Lancaster.
