Harrisburg Mall's new owner names director
Baltimore-based St. John Properties Inc., which two weeks ago finalized its acquisition of the Harrisburg Mall, today announced it named former property management executive William Russell to be the mall's new director.
On June 14, St. John Properties and Maryland-based Petrie Ross Ventures acquired the mall for $9.5 million from subsidiaries of New Jersey- and Maine-based TD Bank, Harrisburg-based Metro Bank and Montgomery County-based Firstrust Bank.
Russell will oversee the comprehensive management of Harrisburg Mall, including major renovations and capital improvements, day-to-day operations, maintenance, tenant and community relations, budgets and service contracts, according to St. John Properties. He also will be active in identifying tenant prospects for Harrisburg Mall, as well as assisting with marketing and community outreach.
Russell comes to St. John Properties from Maryland-based Hill Management Services Inc. where he was vice president of property management and development. He has worked in property management and real estate professions for more than 27 years.
