A social services provider in York and Adams counties has reached an affiliation agreement with Eastern Pennsylvania-based Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems, according to a news release.
Shrinking government resources and a weak economy have negatively affected Family-Child Resources Inc.'s ability to meet growing demand for services, and the deal with Holcomb will help to continue its mission and embrace future opportunity with a well-established partner, the release states.
Family-Child Resources will keep its local identity, including its name, and continue to operate from its offices on East Market Street in Springettsbury Township, according to the release.
The agreement takes effect July 1, the release states.
Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems provides mental health, substance abuse and prevention services in Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey, according to the release.
