He has more than 30 years of experience overseeing diverse projects and a bachelor’s degree in earth sciences from Penn State University.
Adams County-based Standardbred Breeders Association of Pennsylvania elected Joe M. Thomson of Winbak Farm in Maryland president, John M. Egloff of Vieux Carre Farm in Adams County vice president and Paul F. Spears of Windsong Stable in York County and Hanover Shoe Farms in Adams County secretary and treasurer. Adam Bowden of Diamond Creek Farm in York County and David Meirs III of Concord Stud Farm in New Jersey and Adams County were named board members.
Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania named Curt Schroder a senior vice president and regional executive of its Delaware Valley Healthcare Council. Prior to his resignation, he represented part of Chester County in the state House of Representatives for 18 years.
Manheim Township-based Emerald Asset Management Inc. named Scott L. Rehr chief operating officer of its Emerald Advisers Inc. subsidiary. He co-founded Emerald Advisers in 1991 and was president of its family of mutual funds before leaving the firm in 2002. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College.
Millersburg-based Mid Penn Bank named Margaret E. Steinour vice president and consumer loan manager. She has more than eight years of financial experience, most recently as a regional consumer lender with Metro Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State University.
Harrisburg-based Reynolds Construction Management named Linda Cappellano and Kathie Hook project coordinators. Cappellano has extensive construction experience and a BS from Bloomsburg University. Hook also has extensive experience, most recently with CenterPoint Engineering. Dave Schwebel was named a pre-construction estimator. Previously, he was an estimator with Warfel, Hogg and High construction companies. Alexis Fetchko was named a marketing specialist with affiliate Reynolds Restoration Services. She has an associate degree from Penn State University. Jeff Harris was named a project development manager with Reynolds Energy Services. He is a professional engineer with a BS in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College.
Millersville University named Laura Kendall director of its visual and performing arts center. She was director of arts programming and an adjunct faculty member with Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, an assistant director of community engagement and learning with the Lied Center for Performing Arts and director of family theater and programs at the Lincoln Community Playhouse, both in Lincoln, Neb. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater and a master’s degree in marketing, communication and advertising from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Thomas Waltz was named assistant vice president of facilities. Prior to his retirement from the U.S. Navy, he was most recently director of the facilities engineering and acquisition division in Bethesda, Md. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland.
PA CareerLink of Lancaster County named Anna Ramos site administrator of PA CareerLink of Lancaster County. Previously, she was employed with ResCare and the Lancaster Employment and Training Agency. Michelle Deller was named the CareerLink’s team leader for administrative services. She was a project manager with the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board.
Lancaster-based Tower Insurance Services Inc. named Alan Wolfers chairman and president. He was president. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has an MBA from Rutgers University. Former chairman and founding member David Anderson will remain on the board.
Hanover Hospital named Christine K. Miller vice president of human resources for Hanover HealthCare Plus. Previously, she was an employment and labor law associate with Post and Schell and vice president of human resources with Waynesboro Hospital. She has a master’s degree in human resources management and industrial relations and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.
East Donegal Township-based Transport for Christ, which operates a network of mobile chapels for the trucking community, named Jeff Batzer executive vice president of ministry programs. He will oversee staff and volunteer chaplains. He has 19 years of pastoral experience, a BS in Bible from Lancaster Bible College and a master’s degree in religion from the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown.
