Ribbon cutting planned for revamped Sutliff VolkswagenJason Scott
Harrisburg-based Sutliff Auto Group will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the grand reopening of Sutliff Volkswagen on Paxton Street in Harrisburg.
The company recently completed a $700,000 remodel of the 30,000-square-foot showroom — the first in Pennsylvania to incorporate what is called the Volkswagen white square design concept.
The event is being held at 2 p.m. in conjunction with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic Development Corp. Free food, music, giveaways and tours of the facility will be available throughout the day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the chamber said.
Sutliff recently moved its Cadillac Saab dealership on the Carlisle Pike in Cumberland County to expand its space and update the look of the dealership.
The company also has begun discussions with Detroit-based General Motors Co. about remodeling the Buick GMC Cadillac dealership in State College
Sutliff has dealerships on the East and West shores and in State College that represent all GM brands, as well as Suzuki.
