The Lititz Walk for Wounded Warriors is a joint community project created to raise awareness and funds for wounded warriors in Pennsylvania. PAWW is not affiliated with the National Wounded Warriors Project; it serves only Pennsylvania veterans and their families. Proceeds donated to the Ladies Auxiliary to Lititz Springs Post 1463 go directly to PAWW. Your donation will help veterans and their families in medical emergencies or financial distress.
Funds provide for a day or a weekend away from the hospital for veterans and their families so they can enjoy a day of recreation. They may go hunting for deer, or wild turkey or pheasant; skiing, fishing, or golfing. Funds are not used for credit card bills, car payments, or direct payments to wounded warriors except in the most unusual circumstances. Wounded warriors are helped with home re-pairs, utility payments, medical bills & medical equipment not covered under current government programs and educational programs to prepare for college under the GI Bill.
