The Huntington National Bank appears to be taking another step into the midstate market.

The Ohio-based bank has leased an office in York, according to Rock Commercial Real Estate LLC of York, which brokered the deal. The terms were not disclosed.

The 151 square-foot office is at 221 W. Philadelphia St., which is the Susquehanna Commerce Center.

Representatives from Huntington were not immediately available for comment.

Huntington opened its first commercial banking office in Central Pennsylvania last November in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.

The bank’s parent company, Huntington Bancshares Inc., is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

It posted net income of $335 million in the second quarter of 2018, up from $272 million at the same time last year, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

With $104 billion in assets, the company has nearly 1,000 offices across Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
